I have been a painter of rugs for close to thirty years now.  Hard to believe but I like this life.  And somewhere along the way I became a painter though early on I was just a rug maker.   When people come into my booth they look a little stunned.  These are rugs?  They look like paintings!  But yes you use them on the floor!  And then they begin to become absorbed in the color.  Each piece is all about color.  And color is a powerful tool to help us feel better.  Color can exite us or calm us or simply make us feel alive.  Live in color, because life is not black and white.  (Thanks Ricky for reminding me of that!)
