Over the thirty years that I have been making floorcloths I have created a large number of custom pieces.  This one was to replace a favorite old hooked rug that had long since worn out.  I wanted to create a new rug that captured the essence of the old one but in a more contemporary style.  It was a labor of love but the client was very happy.  Now she has a floorcloth that reminds her of the favorite old rug but much easier to keep clean!
